Chocolate covered strawberries are a common treat that are often given for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, and Valentine’s Day. Strawberries also pair nicely with cheeses, making them a common accompaniment to cheesecakes and cheese plates. When these fruits are cooked, they thicken and turn into jams and jellies.
