In this recipe, Chef Sydney shows you how to make a yummy lentil soup (brown or green lentils).


PREP AHEAD

  • Pre-measure ingredients

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Cups brown or green lentils
  • 7 Cups water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 Onion

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a heavy large saucepan add onion, lentils, and water. 
Add Salt, Lentils, Water And Onion To A Pot

  • Bring to boil over medium-high heat.

  • Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until lentils are tender about 30 minutes.
