- Pre-measure ingredients
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a heavy large saucepan add onion, lentils, and water.
Add salt, lentils, water and onion to a pot
- Bring to boil over medium-high heat.
Bring lentils to a boil
- Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until lentils are tender about 30 minutes.
Cover the lentils and lower heat
