How To Make Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

In this video cooking lesson, Chef Sydney shows you how to yummy and delicious oatmeal cookies.
TOOLS YOU'LL NEED
- Mixer
- Cookie tray
- Parchment paper
- Mixing bowl
- Paper plate (optional)
PREP AHEAD
- Pre-heat oven at 325F
- Pre-measure ingredients
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 Tablespoon of pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 2 cups old fashioned whole rolled oats
- 1 cup raisins
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix the butter and sugar until well blended.
- Add the remaining wet ingredients (eggs, vanilla.)
- While this is mixing, use the second bowl to mix the dry ingredients together.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix. Make sure not to over mix!
- Make small balls and place 6 on a tray.
- Bake in a preheated oven for about 12 minutes.
