In this video cooking lesson, Chef Sydney shows you how to make French Toast.


TOOLS YOU'LL NEED

  • Non-stick pan 
  • Pie dish or other baking dish
  • Spatula

PREP AHEAD

  • Pre-measure the ingredients

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Cup of milk
  • 1 Tablespoon of vanilla
  • 4 Slices of bread (French Bread or Sourdough bread is best)
  • 2 Teaspoons of sugar
  • 1/4 Teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon of butter

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Crack 2 eggs in a bowl and add vanilla and milk. Beat with a fork.

  • Add a tablespoon of butter to a non-stick pan and turn stove to medium heat.

  • Dunk your bread in the mixture and put in pan to fry for a 2-3 minutes on each side.



Dip Bread in the Egg and fry for 2 to 3 minutes

  • When they are golden brown on both sides they are ready

  • Serve and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon
